Green Chimneys gratefully accepts Gifts In-Kind for our many programs and services.

In-kind gift guidelines:

All in-kind gifts must be in good, working condition.

Before we can accept in-kind items they must first be viewed and approved by a member of our staff.

Once it is determined that we can accept the item, donors must complete an In-Kind Gift Form.

We will send you an acknowledgment letter with a description of the item, which will serve as a receipt for your tax purposes. Please note we cannot valuate in-kind items and cannot include a value for the item in the acknowledgment/receipt.

We are always grateful for the generosity of our supporters but please note that we are unable to accept all in-kind gifts offered to us.

Gyrfalcon

Crowned the best for falconry in medieval times, gyrfalcons were once reserved for kings. As the largest falcon in the world, with exquisite plumage ranging from bright white to deep charcoal, gyrs are revered for their powerful skill of flight. Their long wings make hunting waterfowl from 3,000-feet-high a feasible and fantastical feat. This falcon was flown in the sport of falconry for several years.
