Announcements

We’re currently selling gift bags created by Green Chimneys students and all proceeds will go toward the Green Chimneys Parent Association. Funds raised will help with the purchase of seeds for vegetable gardens on both the Brewster and Clearpool campuses.
One lucky winner will receive a Green Chimneys Golden Ticket inside their gift bag and which ultimately designates them the recipient of a large gift basket.
All students will be able to take the gourmet gift bags home on March 26 before spring break via school or residential bus transportation.
Any families with remote only students can email Cheryl Murphy, Green Chimneys Parent Association Vice President, [email protected] in order to arrange school pick-up or gift bag mailing for an additional fee.
With the completion of an elaborate new habitat built by Green Chimneys’ woodshop students, the Farm Science classroom was able to welcome Brownie into her new home. Brownie previously lived alone in her cage in the farm and wildlife office, but guinea pigs do best in larger environments. The new habitat allows her to live in a herd as she would in the wild, with many places to hide and ways to practice her skills. Brownie has always been a social creature, and she has taken over the guinea pig herd but is a very peaceful leader.
