Erik and Dee Sossa have been part of the Green Chimneys family since 2007, supporting the organization through many important milestones. Year after year, they have given generously to the Annual Campaign, demonstrating a deep belief in the mission and a long-standing commitment to the children, families, and animals Green Chimneys serves. Their impact extends well beyond annual giving. Erik and Dee were meaningful contributors to the Sam & Myra Ross Farm & Wildlife Center Campaign, offering both financial support and time. Most recently, their generosity helped make Green Chimneys’ year-end Therapeutic Playground Appeal possible through a leadership matching gift that inspired others to give.

Looking toward the future, Erik and Dee have also made a planned gift to Green Chimneys, ensuring that their support will continue to strengthen the organization for years to come. Through Erik’s career at PepsiCo, the Sossas’ were able to secure corporate support for Green Chimneys, including matching gifts and in-kind contributions. This support—extending even beyond Erik’s retirement in 2021 as Vice President of Global Benefits and Wellness—helped broaden the reach and impact of the Sossas’ philanthropy and further advance the work of Green Chimneys.
