Are you looking for ways to keep your child active?
Do they love being outdoors with their peers?
During this unprecedented time, and in an effort to meet the needs of families challenged with managing their children’s education in addition to work and life in general, Green Chimneys is offering a series of weekly outdoor programs for children and families. We all know that spring in the Hudson Valley is a great time to get outside. Explore these opportunities to help your children stay active, interact with peers, and strengthen their ties with the natural world.
Access to this program is important for all families; scholarships are available. To apply for a scholarship, please download the Scholarship Application PDF. Applications will be reviewed by committee starting Monday, January 11. Funds are limited.

Jacob sheep are small, horned, black and white sheep which the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy has listed the North American population as a conservation priority. The breed produces a medium fleece which is sought after by hand spinners. Ziggy and her twin sister Rita were born in 2008 and are among a small herd of Jacobs that live at Green Chimneys. From gentle sheep, children learn valuable life lessons in kindness, patience, consistency and love.
