In Memory of Stefani Gosselink

For ten years Green Chimneys has kicked off the holiday season with the arrival of a large, intricate gingerbread creation made by Stefani Gosselink. Each year Stefani created magnificent gingerbread structures that were auctioned off for charity as part of a holiday luncheon for W. R. Berkley Corp. employees. The company would then match the winning bid, doubling the gift to Green Chimneys. Stefani and Rob’s sweet annual visit was a cherished tradition and their generosity will always be remembered.

At the request of her family, gifts to Green Chimneys in loving memory of Stefani may be made via:

  • Online via PayPal >

  • Credit card by calling Tina at 845.279.2995 x211

  • Or by check made payable to “Friends of Green Chimneys” and sent to:

Friends of Green Chimneys
400 Doansburg Road
Brewster, New York 10509
Please note “IMO Stefani Gosselink” in the “for” field of the check.

All gifts in Stefani’s name will support Green Chimneys’ therapeutic programs for children and animals.

Meet Our Animals
Green Chimneys guinea pig

Brownie

With the completion of an elaborate new habitat built by Green Chimneys’ woodshop students, the Farm Science classroom was able to welcome Brownie into her new home. Brownie previously lived alone in her cage in the farm and wildlife office, but guinea pigs do best in larger environments. The new habitat allows her to live in a herd as she would in the wild, with many places to hide and ways to practice her skills. Brownie has always been a social creature, and she has taken over the guinea pig herd but is a very peaceful leader.
