Hours of Operation:
The Showhouse will kick off on September 27 and will run through October 23. Kinderwood will be open daily, Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am 4 pm and is closed on Mondays.
Location/Parking:
Located just minutes from Ridgefield Academy, the Showhouse is in a residential area. All visitors must access the Showhouse via complimentary shuttles. Parking and complimentary shuttle are offered at Ridgefield Academy, 223 West Mountain Rd.
Directions:
From Ridgefield Center:
Follow Main Street to the Ridgefield Town Hall. Opposite Town Hall is Catoonah Street. Follow Catoonah Street to the end, which is High Ridge Ave Turn right on High Ridge Ave. and continue to the first stop sign, which is Barry Ave. Turn left on Barry Ave. and follow Barry, which turns into West Mountain Rd., for approximately 3 1/2 miles. Ridgefield Academy will be on your left. Park in the first lot.
Shuttle Service:
Shuttle service is complimentary and mandatory for access to Kinderwood. Buses will run every few minutes during all hours of Showhouse operation, including special events.
Admission:
Tickets are required for admission to the Showhouse and for all special events. Tickets are available online or at any Ridgefield/Fairfield County Bank branch. Visit the “Tickets” portion of the web site for pricing and additional information or to process your ticket order.
Children under 12 (including infants) cannot be admitted.
Reservations:
Due to limited seating, advanced ticket purchase or phone reservations are required for all special events.

The program, which became part of Green Chimneys Children’s Services in 1991, has helped numerous individuals and families improve their lives. Good Friend serves the Housatonic Valley region, which includes Bethel, Brookfield, Danbury, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Redding, Ridgefield and Sherman.
