BUCKLEY

Born in 1998, Buckley has been a gentle riding horse his whole life and the largest pony at Green Chimneys. When his private owners had to give him up, they knew Green Chimneys would be a perfect home for this unusual buckskin and paint horse. Buckley has an outgoing, friendly personality, calm attitude, and smooth gait, making him a favorite in the therapeutic riding program. Riding horses can help children overcome their fears and gain great confidence, and Buckley is very patient and polite with novice riders. He is also a curious fellow, known for eating microphones while being interviewed for TV programs, such as The Martha Stewart Show.
