From New York City - West Side
Travel North on West Side Drive to Henry Hudson Parkway. (9A) to Saw Mill Parkway to Route 684. Continue north on Route 684. Go PAST Exit 10 and do not get off. Route 684 turns into NY 22 North automatically. Continue on Route 22 to the fifth traffic light (Doansburg Road). Turn right onto Doansburg Road, go 2 miles and Green Chimneys will be clearly in sight on the right hand side.
From New York City - East Side
Travel North on East River Drive to Major Deegan Expressway to New York Thruway. Take Thruway to Exit 7A to the Saw Mill Parkway. Take Saw Mill Parkway to Route 684. Continue north on Route 684. Go PAST Exit 10 and do not get off . Route 684 turns into NY 22 North automatically. Continue on Route 22 to the fifth traffic light (Doansburg Road). Turn right onto Doansburg Road, go 2 miles and Green Chimneys will be clearly in sight on the right hand side.
From Upstate/Western New York
Travel South on New York State Thruway or Taconic State Parkway to I-84 East. Continue East to Exit 19. Turn left onto Route 312 . At the end of 312, turn left onto Route 22 North. At the first traffic light turn right onto Doansburg Road. Go 2 miles and Green Chimneys will be clearly in sight on the right hand side.
From Long Island
Take Throgs Neck Bridge or Whitestone Bridge to Hutchinson River Parkway to 684 North. Continue North on Route 684. Remain on 684, go PAST Exit 10 and do not get off . Route 684 turns into NY 22 North automatically. Continue on Route 22 to the fifth traffic light (Doansburg Road). Turn right onto Doansburg Road, go 2 miles and Green Chimneys will be clearly in sight on the right hand side.
From Connecticut
Go West on Route I-84 to Exit 20 (in NY State)? at fork in exit ramp, bear RIGHT towards Route 22 North/Pawling. (Do not get off at the Brewster exit.) Continue on Route 22 to the fifth traffic light (Doansburg Road), which is just after the State Police barracks. Turn right onto Doansburg Road, go 2 miles and Green Chimneys will be clearly in sight on the right hand side.
From New Jersey
1. Lincoln or Holland Tunnel to West Side Drive North to Henry Hudson Parkway. (9A) or George Washington Bridge to Henry Hudson Parkway to Saw Mill Parkway to Route 684. Continue north on Route 684. Remain on 684, go PAST Exit 10. Route 684 becomes NY 22 North automatically. Continue on Route 22 to the fifth traffic light (Doansburg Road). Turn right onto Doansburg Road, go 2 miles and Green Chimneys will be clearly in sight on the right hand side.
2. Garden State Parkway to New York State Thruway (East). Cross the Tappan Zee Bridge. Take Exit 8 - (immediately) take Exit 1 (Route 119/Saw Mill). Take the Saw Mill Parkway to Route 684. Continue north on Route 684. Remain on 684 and go PAST Exit 10. Route 684 becomes NY 22 automatically. Continue on Route 22 to the fifth traffic light (Doansburg Road). Turn right onto Doansburg Road, go 2 miles and Green Chimneys will be clearly in sight on the right hand side.
*** If you are going to Hillside Outdoor Education Center from any of the above, watch for the sign which is immediately before Green Chimneys' gymnasium parking lot. |
