It's official.  Our Shark Finatics are the 2010 Oceana Junior Ocean Heroes!  Robin Culler of education, the group's fearless leader, picked up the award from Oceana CEO Andrew Sharpless  at the World Oceans Day party held at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Hollywood, CA. 

Paul Kelway of the International Bird Rescue Research Center picked up the other Ocean Hero award for his colleague Jay Holcomb, who was unable to attend because he was rescuing birds in the Gulf.

The star-studded awards program was hosted by shark aficionado January Jones of "Mad Men" (pictured here with Robin Culler) with a special performance by Jakob Dylan.  Attendees included environmentalists like fellow Ocean Hero finalist Sara Bayles, Oceana staff, publishing and media executives and actors including David Arquette and Sharon Lawrence.
