NYC Runaway Homeless Youth Programs (TLP and TIL) PDF Print E-mail

Our NYC Runaway Homeless Youth Programs consists of two elements: our Transitional Living Program (TLP) and Transitional Independent Living (TIL) program. Both provide a “safe haven” for LGBTQ youth where they learn the essential life skills for their transition into community living. The programs offer young people opportunities to live and test out independence, to be responsible for themselves and to acquire essential tools for adult independent living. Staff supervises, mentors and monitors each resident’s progress in six, scattered-site apartments.
