What paperwork must I bring for my students/group?

Be sure to have your group assignment list, health forms for all students and your cabin plan, if staying overnight.

We strongly advise you to not allow students to bring cell phones. Service on our 350-acre wooded campus is poor and they can get lost or damaged. You have also come to Clearpool for an outdoor education experience and we feel that a cell phone defeats our number one goal – to connect with nature! If students must bring cell phones, we ask that they be put away until the trip is over.
Yes! We welcome individuals of all ages and abilities to our campus and many activities can be modified to ensure participation for all. Please let us know of any specific concerns or special accommodations in advance of your trip.
The trip coordinator and staff assigned to your school will help direct and guide you throughout the day. We require that a teacher/chaperone accompany each Clearpool staff member for the entire program and their participation is welcome and encouraged to help make the experience for the students memorable and enjoyable.
Once your signed trip contract has been received, we will send you an invoice for a nonrefundable 25% deposit with balance due 10 days prior to date of arrival. Your deposit secures your trip date(s); failure to pay the deposit within the agreed time may result in loss of your reservation. Late or non-payments will be referred to the Green Chimneys business office to make necessary arrangements.
All group trips to Clearpool require a certain amount of liability insurance and group leaders must provide proof of coverage. The document can be easily obtained through your business office or insurance carrier (many carriers refer to it as “event insurance”) and must list Green Chimneys as additional insured.
