Training & Development Promote Professional Growth

Green Chimneys employees are provided with training and development opportunities to promote superior service, proper job performance and professional growth. We encourage continuous learning and support personal growth and career advancement among all staff.

Orientation
All new employees participate in a 7-day paid orientation program to learn about employment policies and work requirements, as well as the agency and its culture.

Ongoing Training
All employees are required to attend 40 hours of job-related training each year. Some trainings are required or recur every one to two years. Other topics are left to the employee’s discretion depending on their interest and/or job duties. Classes are led by experienced trainers and/or employees with significant expertise in a particular area. Training programs offered free of charge for all employees.
